They smile and wave when they see me coming. They know they are going to get food for energy and a prayer which feeds their spirit too!

This 2007 Dodge Nitro SUV served me well for many years but finally sputtered for the last time! I hitched rides for a while to deliver food and prayers. A group of people at a local church saw my plight, got together, and donated money for a 1999 Honda Odyssey Van. I love it, I can carry so much more. Often I take someone to emergency or a doctor or intake appointment and it's nice not having to rearrange things to make room.
A Bridge to Healing:
Supporting Santa Ana's Recovery Community
I cooperate with many Santa Ana charitable organizations and recovery programs like the Salvation Army, The Purpose of Recovery, City of Santa Ana City Net, Mary's Kitchen, and many faith-based shelters. I'm so proud of the work they do and the care they give to help others in need. When I drive someone to their intake facilities, they trust me that I am bringing someone ready to take the next step of recovery. For that reason, I am able to be part of their outreach program. I see many of these people later in AA and it's always humbling and gratifying. It makes my mission worthwhile and gives me the energy and motivation to continue.

How to Donate
Food, Clothing, Coats, Socks, Shoes, Personal Care Items, Blankets and Bibles or a Donation to help cover transportation expenses driving to food preparation facilities and homeless communities is always gratefully accepted. Thank you, Michaela

Michaela Ministries' Mission
Michaela Ministries is dedicated to serving the homeless community in Santa Ana, providing regular meals directly on the streets and in local parks. I always offer a prayer for healing and guidance for those on a journey of recovery.
Operating entirely on personal dedication, all vehicle, food pickup, and delivery expenses have historically been self-funded.
To keep my outreach vehicle running safely, I now also welcome grant funding, philanthropic partnerships, and institutional contributions from organizations committed to local community welfare.
Leadership Development: "When resources allow, I plan to multiply my mission by preparing new advocates to serve their own local communities.". There is a tremendous need at this time.
After a day of visiting and encouraging homeless people, I always go home thankful someone helped me in 2010 when I needed help. Thank you U-Turn For Christ, Perris, CA. When I left, I vowed to payback, and I was given a vision to start a women's home. In the meantime, I was directed by God to start with feeding the homeless. Mary's Kitchen offered me food and guidance and I got my start. I've helped many people into rehab too. You hear things when you are on the front line and you have many opportunities to offer support and guidance.
